Your first port will be Tromsø. Highlights of Tromsø are the Arctic Cathedral, Mount Storsteinen with it’s cable car which shows off stunning natural views, and the Polar Museum where you can learn Norway’s golden age of exploration
Narvik is the second port. Here you can learn about the city’s fascinating World War Two history where it harbored allied convoys and iron ore ships. Visit the war museum or explore the beautiful landscape by taking a cable car to the top of Mount.
On day three you will visit Svolvær and Stokmarknes. In Svolvær you can visit an art museum inspired by the arctic light or enjoy the landscape and beautifully painted fisherman’s cabins called rorbuer.
In Stokmarknes, experience the birthplace of Hurtigruten. Visit the Hurtigruten museum to learn more about their story and legacy.
In Harstad, experience the Trondenes Church which dates all the way back to the Middle Ages. Visit local galleries to learn about the artisans in Harstad. For more natural beauty, wander the trails to view the fjords below.
In Alta, immerse yourself in the magical winter landscape. Enjoy the beautiful scenery, take a sled ride pulled by a team of huskies, wander along the tranquil river, or for an outdoor adventure snowmobile along the tundra.
Honningsvåg is home to a breathtaking cliff which drops nearly 1,000 feet into the ocean below. Here you can experience this incredible view before heading into town to visit a local café or to visit the North Cape Museum.
Our small ship navigates close to shore and ducks into small ports all along Norway's beautiful coastline. Our entire itinerary will be in the Northern Lights visibility cone for the best viewing potential.
